Middlesbrough primary school put ‘on lockdown’ as armed police descend on estate
A primary school close to Middlesbrough was put under lockdown on Thursday 28 March.
Tilery Primary School was blocked off by police during an operation at a nearby estate in Stockton-on-Tees.
Police arrived at the school with riot vans and sniffer dogs.
