The Butterfly 🦋

Fantastical creations inspired by nature are a specialty of Wallace Chan, the self-taught Chinese artist and sculptor based in Hong Kong. A brilliant example of Chan’s work are his dazzling brooches, each depicting a butterfly — one of his signature motifs. The ‘Wind’s Tale’ brooch features a pair of real butterfly wings, held within carved rock crystal and mother of pearl.
