Miss Lailani Screams The House Down

Although we usually only raise Black and Grey-headed flying-foxes, this year has seen many Little Red flying-foxes orphaned in a central Queensland city. Miss Lailani is a three week old Little Red and typical of her species, she can be rather vocal and demonstrative. We use a dummy/pacifier to replicate mothers nipple and you can hear the abject misery and desperation in Lailani’s voice when her dummy is removed.
