Eraserhead Opening (David Lynch) Fan-Made Soundtrack

This is the opening scene of David Lynch’s Eraserhead, but using my own music as a Soundtrack. Every sound used in this video is done by myself, this was my first project for University. I decided to do my own take on the soundtrack and opted for soundscapes and all that dark moody atmospheric stuff. The original is a masterpiece of sound design, and can be very minimalist and quiet at times, so this is, in a sense, a more music based interpretation of a relatively quiet-by-comparison scene from the film. But yeah here it is. I decided to do this using the original work as an inspiration but also taking influence from ideas of ambient scores taken from the likes of Brian Eno. Disclaimer: I do not claim to own any of the footage used in this video. The video displayed is the property of David Lynch and Universal Studios.
