Danish company open a £30 million bacon factory

Danish Crown have built a 30 million pound plant to “process“ pigs into bacon and gammon , with claims to be a carbon neutral factory . But does this claim take into consideration that the product is linked to cancer and heart disease in an already statistically unhealthy part of the UK , namely the north and does this claim take into consideration the farming and transport and ultimately the slaughter of these sentient beings ? are all the farms carbon neutral ? the feed ? the farms ? the slaughter houses ? the transport ? the refridgeration?
