I wasn’t very happy with the over-saturated snare sound in Nolly’s P4 mix session and I’ve heard a lot of mixes from people just doing that. I still saturate it a bit just to keep it in check, but I really don’t like killing the pristine-ness of a snare-drum just to get it to sit better. PIII and Juggernaut ’till I die!
