Wired: Wired means there are physical cables. These cables connect devices, like how a phone charger connects to a phone. The information travels through the cables. It is usually very reliable and fast because the connection is direct. But, you can’t move around easily because you are attached to the cable. Wireless: Wireless has no cables. It uses invisible waves in the air to send information. Like how a remote control changes TV channels without a cable. You can move around freely. Sometimes it’s not as fast as wired because things like walls can block the waves. So, wired is like a train on tracks, it can only go where the tracks go, but it’s usually on time. Wireless is like a bird, it can go anywhere, but sometimes it takes longer, especially if it’s windy.
