Firefighters battle further wildfires on Rhodes

As fires appeared to have been contained on the island of Rhodes, a flare-up in the region of Asklypio has brought a fresh scramble involving eight water-dropping aircraft, including two sent in from Turkey and one from Croatia. Initial estimates suggest that more than 4,000 hectares of land have been razed on the island.
