Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on May 19th 2023

▪️Russian troops have launched massive strikes at the western and central regions of Ukraine. In the western part of the country, military facilities in Lviv, Rivne and Volyn regions were hit. ▪️Missile attacks and drone strikes were also recorded in the central and southern regions. According to preliminary data, a parking lot of military equipment was hit in Kryvyi Rih, and AFU warehouses were destroyed in Mykolaiv. ▪️ Ukrainian units, in turn, undertook an attack on Crimea. The launch of seven UAVs was recorded in Odesa region. Only five drones flew to the peninsula, which were shot down in the vicinity of Dzhankoi and near Solone Ozero. ▪️In the Kup’yans’k sector of the front, the enemy is undertaking counterattacks, trying to regain lost positions near Masyutivka. Russian units, supported by artillery, have so far successfully held a bridgehead on the western bank of Oskil river. ▪️In Bakhmut, Wagner PMC units seized almost the entire multi-storey building, practically eliminating all large AFU’s fortified areas. At the moment, the fighting is going on in the private sector and in the MiG-17 Monument aircraft area. ▪️In Avdiivka The Russian Aerospace Forces again delivered an airstrike on the coke plant, where the AFU rear positions are located. The purpose of the attack was the storage of ammunition and fuel reserves located on the territory of the plant. ▪️On the threshold of the anniversary of the liberation of Mariupol, the Kyiv regime launched a missile attack at the peaceful city. Most of the missiles were intercepted by air defence, but at least one strong explosion was confirmed by objective control means.
