Kim Ok Ju, Choe Sol Hui & Co. - Medley of Russian Songs (로씨야노래련곡 / Попурри из Русских Песен)

This was the absolute highlight of the concert. Outside of the national anthem, these are some of the best vocals we’ve heard from Kim Ok Ju in years. Both her and Choe Sol Hui seem to be fluent in Russian and would regularly sing together in the language as part of Unhasu Orchestra ( I must confess I am not Choe’s greatest fine. There have been many ocassions where she has been tone-deaf and out of tune in Korean. However, it is in another languages where she shines. This was no exception. Apologies for the video quality not being as good as normal. My internet in Japan isn’t particularly fast, and I didn’t want to stall working on this with it being new and relevant.
