SSIUK LECTURE SERIES: THE LIVES AND TIMES OF GARAB DORJE

ABOUT THE LECTURE Nirmanakāya Garab Dorje is the first human master to teach the Ati Yoga teachings in this world. Malcolm Smith will discuss the lives and times of Garab Dorje based on the biographical accounts associated with the mind, space, and intimate instruction series, their similarities and differences. Malcolm Smith has been a Buddhist practitioner since 1989, and a student of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu since 1992. He was awarded the title Ācārya in the Sakya school, completed a three year solitary retreat, and graduated in the first class of the Shang Shung Institute’s School of Tibetan Medicine. He has published several translations of early Dzogchen tantras and commentaries with Wisdom Publication and has two books of translations from the Sakya School forthcoming from Shambhala publications.
