The police investigation revealed that the mafia took the victim hostage in the room by threatening them with physical and mental torture and even killing their relatives in India. The rescued are Gurinder Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Manvir Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Gurpit Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Gurpit Singh from Punjab and Subash Kuwar, Pratik and Ashish Kumar from Haryana.
