Apart from that, SSP Khatri said that 3 thousand dollars and passports and other mobile phones were confiscated and tortured by bringing them to Kathmandu. It has been revealed from the investigation that the passports of the victims are stamped with fake stamps of ’arrival and departure’ and made to say on social media. The police investigation revealed that the mafia took the victim hostage in the room by threatening them with physical and mental torture and even killing their relatives in India. The rescued are Gurinder Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Manvir Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Gurpit Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Gurpit Singh from Punjab and Subash Kuwar, Pratik and Ashish Kumar from Haryana.
