Man Arrested For Causing Chaos During Church Service

On October 25th Zephyrhills Police Department received a report of an incident, at a church in Zephyrhills, Florida. The incident involved a young black male who had earlier caused a disruption during service, which later led to an assault. The suspect was asked to leave and became aggressive and attacked a victim by punching him in the head. During the physical struggle, the suspect and the victim fell to the ground where the victim sustained minor injuries. The suspect was seen after the assault laughing and attempting to throw a chair by witnesses at the church. The suspect then spits in the face of another victim that was escorting him out of the church. Upon being taken outside the church the suspect walked up to the church van outside and broke the window of the church van. Zephyrhills Police Department made contact with the suspect at a local park where he admitted to being at the church and causing a disturbance. He was subsequently taken into custody and placed into the back of the patrol vehicle by officers. The suspect verbally insulted the officers and stated “ain’t got no time for this.” Upon being transported to jail the suspect was booked and processed. The suspect proceeded verbally insulted the officer at the jail.
