Voltaire Reel “Sci-Chian“ station ID for The Sci Fi Channel

This is a station ID I created for The Sci Fi Channel somewhere around 1996 or 1997. I had just finished drawing the first issue of my comic book series, “Chi-chian“. When asked by Ken Krupka, the head of on air promos at Sci Fi to come up with a ten second ID, I pitched the idea of making a Chi-chian promo in stop-motion. He was an amazing guy and big supporter of my work and he green lit the project. It really gave Chi-chian the boost she needed to get published and move onto bigger and better things,
