Gerhard Gschossmann - “Caravan“ - (J. Tizol/Duke Ellington, 1936) - fingerstyle solo guitar

please visit ““ Hi friends of guitar music, for quite a long time I was deeply impressed by this Ellington tune. It is really uncommon for a jazz tune and in the original brass scores, it seems, the players wanted to avoid any harmony. In later Ellington versions, the disharmony was reduced.... But the mood of that tune with the nearby chords was the same. Intersting also what gypsy guitar player made out of this tune - especially when they speed it up.... That was in my head, when I just found an entry point for my arrangement... and then I let it run..... Hope you enjoy it..... many greetings from Germany Gerhard www,
