Srila Prabhupada The Acharya -- Part 1 -- 4K ULTRA HD!

Experience Prabhupada’s regular daily routine in this film. As he travelled the world visiting his Temples and disciples world-wide he followed a regular daily routine, rising very early in the morning, before 2:00 AM to translate his books, later on he would go on a morning walk with some of his followers and explain various aspects of the philosophy of Krishna consciousness and chant Hare Krishna. Srila Prabhupada is the Founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). This is the first part of a documentary series produced by ISKCON Television (ITV) in the 1980’s. In this film you will see Srila Prabhupada on one of his morning walks in Los Angeles, then he returns to the New Dwarka temple for the greeting of the Deities and his Srimad-Bhagavatam class. Then we see Srila Prabhupada in the Golden Avatar Recording Temple at New Dwarka, Los Angeles, playing the mrdanga and recording some bhajans. Then we see Srila Prabhupada sitting on the lawn at New Vrindavan one afternoon discussing philosophy with some devotees and their parents. Finally we see a discussion in Srila Prabhupada’s rooms at Los Angeles temple with a group of ISKCON leaders including many of the sannyasis. Srila Prabhupada challenges them, “Why the book printing is going so slowly.“ And tries to encourage them to print his outstanding books faster. At that time there were more than ten books that Srila Prabhupada had written but the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT) had not been able to print. So Srila Prabhupada was very anxious to get this backlog of book printing cleared.
