Aberdovey lifeboat crew test their skills in rough weather training

A trainee helm is put through his paces on board Aberdovery lifeboat as he practices his boat-handling skills in rough weather. The training exercise included finsing and helping a casualty boat in lumpy conditions off Tywyn Beach. The RNLI’s volunteers have to be ready to launch in any weather, so practicing in rough consitions is a valuable part of their training.
