Algeria: Anti-Bouteflika protesters chant slogans against Army Chief Gaid Salah

Protesters against President Abdelaziz Bouteflika were filmed chanting slogans against Army Chief General Ahmed Gaid Salah in Algiers on Thursday, just a day after Salah called for the president to be declared unfit for office. While most Algerians have reportedly welcomed the declaration, the reaction from the protesters was not optimistic, allegedly chanting “Bouteflika you will leave, take with you Gaid Salah.“ According to article 102 of Algeria’s constitut
