Dungeon Chiptune RYM Box Set

Dungeon Synth x Chiptune = sub-genre of lo-fi Dungeon Synth mainly composed on video-game-related instruments (vintage computers or consoles, trackers, old MIDI sound chips instead of MIDI synthesizers). Its lo-fi stylization is achieved by the emulation of the crude audio limitations of the old Video Game Music from the 1980’s early 1990’s era (eg. limited number of audio channels), and some characteristics of the Chiptune genre (eg. shorter tracks, noisy clusters, “busier“ melodies instead of slow atmospheric tunes). Instead of Black Metal, Dungeon Chiptune is mostly inspired by fantasy role-playing games, either via video-games (mainly dungeon crawlers and RPGs from before the 16-bit era), or via tabletop role-playing games (ie. Dungeon & Dragons). Set and Selections by JessiEye Visit the list for links to the selections
