1982 Gottlieb Pinball- PUNK! Rare and HTF! Gameplay video.

Take a time machine back to 1982! More than 30 years ago, Gottlieb was making different and unique, outside the box pinball machines. Many from this era were wide body games, featuring catchy tunes, upper and lower playing fields, combined with amazing artwork. Sadly, the early 80’s also marked the death of pinball, due to the arrival of Pac-man and the video game craze. Williams Space Shuttle (released in 1984) would launch the pinball comeback, but by this time, Gottlieb had abandoned their ideals in search of answers. This meant both cost cutting and simplifying game design and thus starting the downward spiral for Gottlieb. The once giant in the coin operated industry was never able to to get back to the top of the pinball mountain, and eventually closed their doors for good in 1996.
