Urad dal ke pakode is a tasty pakoda recipe made with urad dal and spices. From north to south, there’s a special item in every part of India that is relished during the rains. #Uraddalkepakode #Uraddalvada Ingredient Quantity Split black lentils (Soaked) 1 Cup Onion 2 No. (Big Size) Green chilli 4 No. Ginger 1 inch Red chilli powder ½ tsp for sprinkle Turmeric powder ¼ tsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp Curry leaves 10-12 No. Slat to taste Gram flour 3 Tbsp Chat masala for sprinkle Oil for frying Water as required Method: 1. Wash and soaked the dal in enough water in a deep bowl for 2-3 hours 2. Peeled and chopped the onion and keep it aside. 3. Chopped the green chillies and keep it aside. 4. Chopped the ginger and keep it aside. 5. Now put chopped onion, green chillies and ginger in a bowl. 6. Take soaked dal in grinder jar, add little water and grind well. 7. Remove in bowl. 8. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, curry leaves, salt and gram flour and mix well. 9. Heat the oil for frying in deep pan. 10. Apply littler water in palm and take spoon full of prepared mixture and press slightly and drop into the hot oil and fry until half done. 11. Remove Pakodas on absorbent paper. 12. Reheat the oil and fry the pakodas in hot oil till all sides becomes golden brown. 13. Remove in absorbent paper; sprinkle some chaat masala, red chilli powder on top. 14. Place the pakodas on serving plate, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
