Efficient Glass Handling with FANUC R-2000iC 210L

QCOMP Technologies, a FANUC Authorized System Integrator, utilizes the FANUC R-2000iC 210L robot to efficiently unload glass panes. A vision and light system detects the location of the glass, enabling the robot to accurately pick the glass from underneath using a suction cup end effector, placing it onto a rack mounted on a turntable. Key Benefits: • Continuous Operation: The system features two turntables, enabling uninterrupted unloading as alternate racks are used. Each turntable supports two racks, allowing the robot to load glass onto one while the other is being replaced. • Flexible Packing: Glass can be arranged in one or two columns and stacked one or two rows high, providing versatile packing options. This setup ensures efficient, precise, and continuous glass handling, optimizing safety, productivity and reducing downtime. About QComp Technologies Developing a solution isn’t enough. Customers choose QComp because of our deep experience, skill, and ingenuity in designing and installing custom robotic automation for complex material handling challenges. Our team works side-by-side with our customers to simulate potential solutions in real-time and, together, we envision a finished product. We are relentless in our pursuit of customer satisfaction, promising optimal OEE and delivering on that promise. We conquer complexity. The FANUC R-2000iC/210L industrial robot is the successor to the R-2000iB/185L. Lifting an additional 25 kg, the robot also offers improved rigidity, enhanced wrist load moment and inertia. The R-2000iC/210L is ideally suited to automotive applications such as spot welding. Its relatively small footprint means it easily fits into crowded factory environments.
