Flakpanzerkampfwagen IV

The Flakpanzerkampfwagen IV was a series of German self-propelled anti-aircraft guns based on the Panzer IV tank chassis. They were designed to provide air defense for the Panzer divisions, which were increasingly vulnerable to Allied and Soviet aircraft attacks. The Flakpanzerkampfwagen IV came in different variants, each armed with a different type of anti-aircraft gun. Some of the most notable ones were the Ostwind, which had a 3.7 cm Flak 43 gun in a hexagonal turret, the Möbelwagen, which had a 3.7 cm Flak 43 gun on a platform with folding sides, and the Kugelblitz, which had a twin 3 cm MK 103 gun in a spherical turret. These vehicles were formidable opponents for enemy planes, but they were also effective against ground targets, especially lightly armored vehicles and infantry. The Flakpanzerkampfwagen IV was a versatile and powerful weapon that proved its worth in many battles. See more on Support : Support :
