Today’s video is a spotlight on my 75 gallon American cichlid aquarium. I currently have a mix of Central and South American cichlids, including a Nicaraguan cichlid, 3 Geophagus Sveni, an Electric Blue Acara, and a Rainbow cichlid. I changed up the aquascape, upgraded my equipment, and I had a cichlid lay eggs!
My Nicaraguan cichlid (Macaw Cichlid) wasted no time in laying hundreds of eggs after I changed up my decor. She’s been super aggressive while protecting the eggs, but nothing too serious yet.
In terms of equipment, I upgraded to a Sicce XStream 6500 pump. This pump is creating a ton of surface agitation and water movement throughout the tank. You can find this, along with other products I use, at the affiliate links below!
