Puffins Returning From The Open Sea To Breed | Puffin Day On Lovund, Norway | DW Euromaxx

Every year, around April 14th, puffins return from the open seas to their nesting grounds on Lovund, a Norwegian island just below the Arctic Circle. It’s a spectacular event, known as Puffin Arrival Day. These distinctive, red-beaked seabirds spend most of the year at sea. Only for breeding do they come to nest on the sparsely populated island of 450 people in the North Atlantic. --------------------------------------------- Subscribe to DW Euromaxx: Would you like to find out mor
