This is the Fort Scott Subdivision looking south linking busy Kansas City and Springfield, Missouri and traffic to and from Tulsa with Hammond being roughly around the halfway point (MP ). This subdivision acts as the primary gateway for BNSF traffic to the south east from the western United States. Trains you will see are; coal trains, manifest trains and, vehicle trains and odd unit trains. You can expect to see around 10-25 trains a day dep
