Llandudno Receives A Tank Aka A Peaceful End (1920)
Llandudno, Gwynedd, Wales. Full titles read: “A PEACEFUL END - Whole town turns out to see the battle scarred tank No 27 presented.“
C/U Street scene, the tank can be seen trundling down the road escorted by soldiers and closely followed by hundreds of locals including many children.
Excellent M/S of a brass band playing as they walk down the street, some more good crowd scenes as people line the streets. The tank is clearly visible in the background, puffing exhaust fumes from it’s rear. As the tank approaches the No 27 can clearly be seen painted on it’s side.
