Rashomon (Original Song)

Ok, played around with my tone settings for a while and got a pretty bad distortion the best I have for now. So I decided to do some kind of djent song. I still haven’t gotten a good djent tone so this will have to do. Not sure how clear it will be. I haven’t seen the movie Rashomon, by Akira Kurosawa, but I’ve read about it and the I just named it such because Rashomon seems like such a badass name for a gate. I recorded it in a few hours time, didn’t put very much effort into practicing and the solo is pretty much improvised except the repeating lick at the end. The drums and bass are instruments that have been programmed, no equipment or people to do real stuff. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it sound like a Bulb song sometime in the distant future. Not very much else to say right now, tell me what you think of the song. Also I would love it if you gave me some advice on tones and eq-ing.
