(Verified!) Grains of Sand 100%!

Oh boy, this is gonna be a long description.. This is a level I’ve wanted to do for a LONG time. I started probably over a year ago now, just trying to do the 4x spider. I did end up doing it but I never thought much of it because I couldn’t do the 3x spider or the ship at the time. Fast forward several months, I have a new keyboard, I felt like I had the time, and so I decided to learn the 3x spider as well. I was then able to do the 4x spider and the 3x spider pretty consistently, but transitioning between the 2 spiders proved to be quite the challenge. Fast forward to after I had beaten stuff like cognition and silent club, and I decided to try my hand at it again. I played from 0 for a bit and managed to get to 60, and then managed to get to 93 shortly after, managing for the first time to do both the 3x and the 4x spider in the same run. After this, I set myself a goal to try to get to at least 95%, and practiced the shit out of the 3x and 4x together to make sure I could do it decently well from 0. It took a long time, but I finally managed to get 96%. This was my goal, and I had basically done everything I wanted to do with the level and kinda just stopped playing it. Then, I got a new pc, and suddenly a new opportunity arose. I could now run the ship with full frames. I practiced the ship over and over again, gradually doing runs from further and further back. 96-100, 95-100, 91-100, 90-100. Finally, I did the full ship for the first time. This was the moment where my motivation peaked, I now knew that beating the level was actually achievable. I grinded from 0 more and more, eventually getting 97, then 98, then 99, and finally beating it. I also got some more runs along the way (mostly by accident while trying to practice the spider) including 58-100 and 42-100x2. About the experience of playing this, it’s weirdly fun to play from 0. The thrill of seeing yourself get faster and faster and actually pulling it off is a feeling that no other level can provide. And while it is slightly boring still, it’s definitely not as boring as you’d expect. Even after dying 29 times to the ship, it was still somehow fun to me. I will try to put together a tips and tricks video, going over every possible piece of advice I can give to help people beat this level. Hopefully with those tips this level will see at least a couple more victors lol.
