Today I watched this level for the first time. This is the longest I’ve waited to do a showcase. Since I saw the first drop part, an early leaked copy in a server before my YouTube days, I had really liked this level. I decided at some point that I would only watch the full level once I was able to play it myself. Since the level was finished and I wasn’t allowed a copy for ’security reasons’ (I would’ve had to upload a showcase recorded by someone else) I turned the chance down as I still had the opportunity to make a long form video on the level once it was at the verification stage, which I felt excited and honored to be able to do, especially with a level I was so passionate about. Even when the first showcases went out, I still didn’t watch. And when the verification stage came, no copy, no communication, no word kept from the host. So I waited again. It’s disheartening that it took this long, so I’m not going to bother with making a higher effort video or even give my present opinion on it. Even if it’s good, I just don’t feel positively about it any more. Here’s a plain, bare minimum showcase of Anathema, because I still care enough about this to spare you from having to watch the alternatives ;3
