Photo Deconstruction: Old Hollywood Glamour

#canon #eosr5 #r5 Today I’m going to show you how I create a dramatic black and white image inspired by old Hollywood Glamour. One of my favorite things to do is to combine the old with the new, different eras, old movies etc and then apply my style to it, paying homage to the past. That’s what today’s image is all about! I wanted to create an image that looked like a Follies or Burlesque performer, something classic, timeless and elegant. Lighting This photograph uses 5 different strobes: 1. Main light: Large Umbrella with Diffusion in short light position 2. Secondary Light w/ 5 degree grid on face 3. On the background: w/ 10 degree grid to separate the subject and background 4. Bare bulb for separation and light on shoulder 5.
