Omali Yeshitela - Federal Criminal Case & Attack on African Peoples Socialist Party & Uhuru Movement

May 19, 2022, Chairman Omali Yeshitela comes back on the show to discuss the recent FBI/DOJ Federal Criminal case and charges against three members of the African People’s Socialist Party and the Uhuru Movement. Chairman Yeshitela is revolutionary, political leader, theoretician and author. Chairman Yeshitela is the founder and Chairman of the African People’s Socialist Party, which leads the Uhuru Movement, and he is the head of the Black is Back Coalition. Chairman Yeshitela founded the African People’s Socialist Party in 1972. Chairman Yeshitela is also the founder of The Burning Spear newspaper, the official journal of the African People’s Socialist Party which has been in publication since 1966. He is the author of numerous books and pamphlets including Vanguard: Advanced Detachment of the African Revolution and An Uneasy Equilibrium: The African Revolution versus Parasitic Capitalism Chairman Yeshitela was a SNCC organizer in the 1960s, sentenced to 5 years in prison for tearing down a racist mural in the City Hall of St Petersburg, FL in 1966. For nearly a half century Chairman Yeshitela has dedicated his life to the unequivocal liberation of Africa and oppressed people everywhere.
