Traditional “Sean-nós“ dancing in a Connemara pub

A popular form of entertainment for Connemara people, “sean-nós“ or old-style traditional step dancing can break out in a pub at any time. It was caught here in a pub, “An tSailchuach“, in Carraroe or “An Cheathru Rua in Gaelic). A large number of musicians who were attending a Comhaltas muisc course run nearby decided to have a session for themselves. The dancer featured is local.
