Joby Announces Scaled eVTOL Factory in Dayton, Ohio

On September 18, 2023, we joined Ohio and Dayton community leaders at Hawthorne Hill -- the home of Orville Wright -- to announce Joby has selected the Dayton International Airport as the location for the company’s scaled eVTOL manufacturing facility. The facility will deliver up to 500 aircraft per year, creating up to 2,000 jobs. We’re grateful to Governor DeWine, Lt. Gov. Husted, Sens. Sherrod Brown and JD Vance, Rep. Mike Turner, JobsOhio CEO JP Nauseef, DDC President and CEO Jeff Hoagland, and many other people who helped make this a success. Onwards -- to building electric aircraft in Ohio!
