Shakira bronze statue unveiled in her hometown in Colombia with a 6.5 meter high

Shakira was honored with a new bronze statue in her hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia, depicting her in a belly dancing pose. This tall monument, unveiled at a ceremony attended by her parents and city officials, is located on a promenade by the Magdalena River. This isn’t the first Shakira statue in the city; another, depicting her early career, was unveiled in 2005 near the city’s soccer stadium. Shakira acknowledged the work of sculptor Yino Marquez and his students, praising Barranquilla’s talent. The pop star has recently won three Latin Grammys, made headlines with a hit song about her ex-partner, settled a tax fraud case in Spain, and relocated to Miami with her children. #Shakira #Colombia #Music Watch the latest breaking news available 24/7 on Euronews. ▶︎ Subscribe to our channel to follow the latest news: ▶︎ Watch Euronews live in different languages on Youtube: 🇪🇸 Euronews en directo en Español: 🇫🇷 Euronews en direct en Français: 🇩🇪 Euronews live auf Deutsch: 🇵🇹 Euronews em direto em Portuguese: 🇷🇺 Прямой эфир Euronews на русском языке: евроньюс/live 🇮🇹 Euronews in diretta in Italiano: 🇬🇷 Euronews ζωντανά στα ελληνικά: 🇭🇺 Euronews magyarul élőben: 🌍 Africanews live in English: 🌍 Africanews en direct en Français: ▶︎ Subscribe to our thematic channels: NoComment: Euronews Green: Euronews Next: Euronews Travel: ▶︎ Follow us on all platforms: Facebook: Instagram: X (Twitter): Newsletters: Telegram: Official Apps:
