Part 2 of Soulive’s free interpretation of “Jesus Children of America“ (Stevie Wonder). Impressive solo by Alan Evans on percussion. Alas, the sound mix lacks the bass register of the keyboards. (What a pity, b/c Neal Evans has a mind-boggling left hand.) I hope that the clip is nonetheless interesting and enjoyable as an imperfect document of vintage Soulive with Sam Kininger in the line-up. What a band!
