Their beautiful, mesmerizing voices lead sailors to their doom, causing them to crash their ships and drown in the process. While Odysseus commanded his crew to stuff their ears with wax as a protection and ordered them to tie him to the mast of the ship, in the song our character falls victim to the Sirens’ deceiving singing and ultimately shares the abysmal fate of men that came there before him. LYRICS Lured into the depths of the ocean by this beautiful melody I think of those thousands of sailors who have been here before me, I think I can hear their wailing Taken away from their mothers, their bodies float beneath the surface, swayed by waves to eternal sleep… Their empty, dead eyes stare into the abyss You were calling me from a shore, and although I knew I shouldn’t have come any closer, I just couldn’t resist The last thing I felt was your ice-cold hand around my wrist pulling me down, into the depths I think of those thousands of sailors who are going to show up here someday, And then they will hear my wailing Taken away from my mother, my body floats beneath the surface, swayed by waves to eternal sleep… My empty, dead eyes stare into the abyss LINE UP: Przemysław Tomasz Olbryt (Quazarre) – vocal / guitar Hubert Wawrzyniak (Stiggma) - guitar Adam Niekrasz (Avernatus) – drums Marek Tuskowski (Tzar) – bass Marcus Edvardsson – synthesizers (guest studio appearance) Track list Melas Oneiros 1.
