Geopier X1® System - McEwen Project–Franklin TN

Geopier was working with a local developer to support two multi-story parking garages that are structurally connected to mixed-use residential and retail buildings that wrap around the parking garages that extend one level below-grade. The loads on this project are significant, with 300-kip column loads in the mixed-use portions of the building and as much as 4,000 kip loads in the core of the parking garage. Between the heavy loads, the variable fill soils, and the variable depth to bedrock, finding the right foundation solution for this project was going to be a challenge.
