GRPD officer to face second-degree murder charge in Patrick Lyoya killing

The officer who shot and killed Patrick Lyoya during a traffic stop in Grand Rapids nine weeks ago will be charged with second-degree murder and the police department has started the process to fire him. (June 9, 2022)
