The Kamov Ka-50, sometimes abbreviated simply as the Ka-50, is a single-seat Russian attack helicopter with twin propellers (coaxial rotors) of the Kamov Design Bureau, designed in the 1980s (1980). There is another two-seat model of the aircraft called the Kamov Ka-52 “Alligator“, Russian: Аллигатор, NATO reporting name: Hokum B. It is equipped with a new radar system that allows detecting a target 35 km away. It is also equipped with new missiles, “Garmos“, capable of destroying any armored target. The speed of the missile is 1 km per second. In addition, the helicopter was equipped with a quick-firing cannon similar to that installed on the BMP-3 vehicle. And enough 6-8 hits for its shell to destroy an enemy armored vehicle. It is not necessary to follow this process by the pilot, because this task is due to the self-guidance system in the cannon.
