In this Christmas program and end-of-the-year broadcast of 1980, TOPPOP invited a host of artists in the TOPPOP studio, which was specially decorated for the occasion.
It was also broadcasting the end result of Hitkrant’s (Hollands leading teenager music magazine at the time) Pop Poll results with the majority of winners in the studio: Golden Earring, Rob de Nijs, Patricia Paaij, BZN, Renée, Spargo, the Dolly Dots, The Mo and Maurice & Verdine White of Earth Wind and Fire.
