SMASH rubber racquetballs easily! #shorts

All we need to do is cool it down with liquid nitrogen which is extremely cold at around -196 degrees Celsius (-321 degrees Fahrenheit). The rubber racquetballs will lose their heat and reach the same temperature as the liquid nitrogen. Rubber racquetballs rely on their elasticity to bounce off surfaces, but when exposed to extreme cold, the rubber’s elasticity diminishes. The drastic temperature difference between the liquid nitrogen and the rubber racquetball can cause the rubber to crack or fracture. Rubber becomes more brittle at low temperatures, and the impact from a collision causes it to smash into several pieces. While this demo is a lot of fun, liquid nitrogen should ONLY be handled by a trained professional like Dr. Tatiana Erukhimova. DO NOT try this at home. 🏠❌ 👍 LIKE and SUBSCRIBE for more fun science content! ➡️ Follow our channels at #physics #science #tamu #fyp #comedy #funny #shortvideo #reels #foryou #learning #short
