️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on January 27-29, 2024 ▪️The AFU attempted to attack the Slavneft-Yanos oil refinery in Yaroslavl with a drone. The drone was suppressed by EW systems, and the refinery continues to operate as per normal. ▪️Meanwhile, Russian troops attacked facilities in Ukraine’s Poltava region. The target of the ballistic missile strike was the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery. The facility is still not functioning. ▪️The Russian Armed Forces continue offensive operations in the Kup’yans’k-Svatove direction. Russian units liberated Tabaivka, and to the south they repelled AFU assaults near Yahidne. ▪️In the Lyman direction, the Russian Armed Forces made a slight advance towards Yampolivka. Positional fighting is under way in the forests near Kreminna, with MLRSs and artillery striking on AFU fortifications. ▪️In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops continue their offensive in the direction of Chasiv Yar. West of Bakhmut, fighting is taking place in the Bohdanivka area, where the Russian Armed Forces are gradually pushing through the AFU’s defenses. ▪️The intensity of fighting remains high along the entire line of contact in the Avdiivka direction. In the southern part of Avdiivka, the Russian Armed Forces advanced in the private sector, but soon two sides moved into positional fighting. ▪️Ukrainian forces continue to shell the civilian infrastructure of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
