King Crimson / Robert Fripp - Solo Scape And Drums

Mister Stormy hasn’t just blown the cobwebs off one recording but in this bespoke mix comes up with a brand new setting for three separate sources. Opening with the radiant swelling of Robert’s soundscapes from Somerville 24 June 2005, a gently loping beat from Pat Mastelotto with accents from Bill Bruford taken from the aborted Nashville rehearsal sessions in May 1997, become the foundation of the piece. The appearance of a Fripp guitar solo from a 1981 Frippertronics performance, suddenly adds focus and fire, forging three distinct moments in time into one powerful and emotional place. #KingCrimson #RobertFripp
