Yellow-bellied Gliders 1

Yellow-bellied Gliders (Petaurus australis) feeding on sap from cuts made into Red Mahogany (Eucalyptus resinifera) in Wet Sclerophyll Forest in the Atherton Tablelands, North Queensland. You can watch their scent-marking behaviour: one member of the group is rubbing its head on the bottom of another glider. They have scent glands on their foreheads and under their tails.
