EOD training during Cope North 2023

US Marines, Japan Air Self-Defense Force, Royal Netherlands Air Force, and Royal Australian Air Force conduct EOD training during Cope North 2023. U.S. Marines, Airmen, and Sailors prepare for explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) training at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Feb. 7 and 14, 2023. EOD Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171 participated in a joint treatment range with the U.S. Air Force’s 36th Civil Engineer Squadron and U.S. Navy’s EOD Mobile Unit 5 during Exercise Cope North 2023 to practice their interoperability and share knowledge. Explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technicians from the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, Royal Netherlands Air Force, Royal Australian Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy conduct rapid explosive hazard mitigation at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171 participated in multilateral rapid explosive hazard mitigation training alongside allied and partner EOD technician
