FAN ART MONDAY | Iris von Everec (Witcher 3)

☼ Hi everyone ☼ Today’s video is speed drawing of my favourite character Iris von Everec from Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone. I really enjoyed this expansion pack and as I said in the previous video with Johnny, I absolutely love Witcher books and game ♥ However, I’m not going to lie, drawing Iris was very very challenging for me and I‘ve never wanted to give it up so many times like I was tempted to do with this drawing. I did a lot of errors such as wrong choice of paper, using color (copic marker) even if the original idea was simply drawing with a graphite pencil, then I struggled with details (Iris’ dress pattern, veil and costume jewellery). Honestly, I’m not satisfied how it all turned out but I had to continue and finish it because Iris means something special to me and I love the story about her even it is sad (maybe that’s why I feel a connection to her).
