Rosegarden Funeral Party - “Middle of the Night“ by Metro (TAKE COVER 10)

Our tenth TAKE COVER will be our version of Metro’s fantastic song, “Middle of the Night,“ from their third and last album, “Future Imperfect.“ As I stated in the description of our previous TAKE COVER of “Ragged Rain Life“, it was about a year ago that, my long-time friend, Enrique Maymi posted a photo of his copy of “the Wild Places” by Duncan Browne atop his turn table. It was discovering this record that encouraged me to look further and find more of Duncan’s music. I soon found out about Metro and his involvement with their first record; a record written with Peter Godwin. Naturally, as the musical archeologist I am, I then listened to all of Peter’s music. I was an instant fan and Peter soon became a massive influence and inspiration for my own music.
