The military anticipates that in return for weapons North Korea will likely gain Russia’s assistance in satellite technology, potentially to prepare for its third attempt at launching a spy satellite. The North may also receive necessities like food and fuel to get through the upcoming winter. The two sides are also anticipated to discuss potential joint military exercises in the future.
