“INS IMPHAL“ the 3rd ship in the Navy’s Project 15B or Visakhapatnam class, unveiled at New Delhi

Designed by the Navy’s Warship Design Bureau, “INS Imphal“ with a cost of Rs 29,700 crores was unveiled today at New Delhi by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, in the presence of Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh and senior defence ministry officials. It is the 3rd ship in the Navy’s Project 15B or Visakhapatnam class, sanctioned in 2011.
